Day 2: So far I've got too many things to do and not enough time. So why am I taking the time to write this, you ask? Activity avoidance, I suppose.

Hurricane Ike entering in the Gulf: We have some tix to Schlitterbaun that we must use by 9/21 and we're planning to go on 9/13; hopefully Ike will not turn North - what makes the meteorologists think this anyway?

Running group: We're running 10 again this week, why another 10 I ask? Seems redundant, we did that last week. Then up to 14 the following. Wow, a 4 mile jump in a week! I've got to ask someone that put this plan together, what they were thinking??
Also, the kids are running in their first 1K and they're pretty stoked about it and the medal they'll get for just finishing it. I'm excited that they're actually going to get up and out of the house before 6:30am on a Sunday morning! :) Now, that's a breakthrough milestone, vato!

Home: Still recovering from the electrical storm of two weeks ago. So far, I've got our TV back from the shop. The VCR and DVD cost too much to fix, when new ones are less. The A/V receiver is still in the shop getting fixed; they're loving me over there - CHA-CHING. Discovered the doorbell doesn't work and need to replace its relay. All total we lost: TV, VCR, DVD, A/V Receiver, Cook-top indicator lights, Analog-Digital converter, Ethernet card, DSL Modem, Wireless router, Phone and Answering Machine, Portable TV/CD/Radio, that's all I've discovered to date. Oh yeah and one other thing, our insurance deductible is too high -CHINGOW!

VoiceOvers/Acting: Need to get more serious about this. Getting casting calls for extras spots, but don't have my head shots or profile setup in Talent6 - not sure if its really worth it, but you've got to start somewhere - right? Need to spend a little time on this, sooner than later. Need to pick up the guitar too - not that I can play it, but picking it up makes me feel like I'm moving in the right direction.

Work is work, new projects kicking off and getting defined. Many unknowns and many knowns. Know enough to being development and to write some documents. YAWN!

Need to get the old car into Bobby's. The door panel was broken when his tech. repaired the window motor. Now it pops loose every time you close the door. They actually broke the plastic clip on the panel, so the only way to fix it right will be to replace it. Like they're going to do that for free - CHINGOW!

Peace out!

Alright, let's fire this puppy up!

Hola! Que Pasa?

First off, I chose a template for this blog so you can check it out from work and the boss will think you're doing what you're supposed to be doing, working, and not surfing the net reading this trash!

Second, the reason I've created this blog is to get all the stuff out of my head that keeps rolling around in there. I'm not talking about crazy, insane, voice's talking to me kind of stuff, just everyday stuff about life. You know the rollercoaster we get on everyday we wake up. Everyday is a new adventure, are you with me?

Some day’s are mundane, but there's always something that stands out as a high or low point. You'll have to check back to get some perspective on where I'm at in this world. I mean, blogs could be written by anyone. For all you know now, I'm just some kid with nothing to say other than my Calculus professor's is hot and I'm obsessing over her. Could be true, may have been, who knows. Anonymity is cool.

Third, I want to make money; yep, that's right M-O-N-E-Y. Somehow, someway, either through a new job opportunity, a new side job, this blog, whatever. With the hard economic times we're going through, who doesn't need more? There are way too many opportunities to just sit and chill when you're not at your 9 to 5. GET HONGRY or you will get hungry.

Anyway, I'm gonna close for now, but check back often. I'll try to throw something out every day or two. Don't look for me to rant and rave - or to sell the company secrets, I'm just getting out here to have my spot in cyberspace for entertainment and mostly for my own therapy!

Via Con Dios!
